The Keystone XL pipeline rejection is just the latest blow he has dealt to our economy and energy production industry. This is by design:
"Fueled by Marxist ideology, one radical anti-America agenda of Soros's and Obama's inner advisers is their desperate desire for the upward destabilization of domestic energy prices. Their repeated actions (ignore the daily pabulum spoon-fed through the MSM to the politically innocents) such as postponing Keystone reflect a premeditated plan to raise the price of domestic energy to crushing levels by executive fiat. (The word "postpone" is bureaucratic euphemism meaning "render dead as a doornail.") Americans have seen three years of a series of brutal administrative assaults on the coal, natural gas, oil, and power production industries. Ignored by the media, Obama's czars, those unconfirmed hard-leftists infecting the executive agencies, have written literally hundreds of new onerous environmental regulations adversely impacting offshore drilling; fracking; and extraction, transport, refining, and sales of all fossil fuels."

And, Harry Reid vows to kill an amendment to a highway bill that would force approval:
Reid: Democrats will kill Keystone amendment - The Hill's E2-Wire
"The president believes that it is wrong to play politics with a pipeline project whose route has yet to be proposed," White House press secretary Jay Carney said Thursday when asked about Obama's phone calls, noting that an alternative route through an ecologically sensitive area of Nebraska has not yet been determined.
The President "believes that it is wrong to play politics with a pipeline project?" Really? This is interesting, since there had already been a route proposed, and even Hillary Clinton had recommended that the project be approved. But Obama is playing to his radical environmentalist base, who oppose things like pipelines, especially this one. Of course, that is not "playing politics," I guess.

While from Obama's own lips, he boasts of his efforts to create jobs, and reduce our dependence on Middle East Oil, at the same time he is killing jobs by his actions, and also killing any hope we may have of becoming less dependent on oil produced by our enemies.

Is this smart policy? It is not, but it is not Obama's purpose to "promote the general welfare" in accordance with the Constitutions stated purpose of the Federal Government of which the President is head.

Do we need anymore proof than what we have already, including the above, that this President's purpose is the destruction of America?

With a second term, and no need to worry about being elected again, he will pull out all the stops.

It is time that all Americans realize what the game is, and why this man must go.

The local news channels in Houston ran a story last week regarding the XL pipeline using eminent domain to acquire land in Liberty County, Texas. Looks like someone thinks it will be coming on down soon.

Very good post and very good article. So much for creating new jobs, huh? More evidence of Darth Barry playing politics and not acting on what's in America's best interest.

Hey, Barry, where are the jobs???

Actually, he wants everyone on food stamps, but that's another thread.

Look for the energy issue to be among the biggest topics, as it ties in with our nation's still-down economy, in our upcoming presidential campaign. This has to be the biggest thing discussed, as it relates to jobs.

I think it is also disturbing how Obama is purposely directing a recovery in the Economy.

POLL: 77% Say Gas Most Important Factor in Election « Investment Watch Blog – 2012

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It might be one of the biggest issues in the upcoming presidential election. Last night, CBS News exit polls found 77 percent of those voting in seven Super Tuesday states say rising gas prices were an important factor in their vote.

The poll reflects growing consumer anxiety as gas prices have risen nearly 50 cents a gallon in just over two months.

To keep the people poor and dependent the government will have power over them. The government oppresses the poor by keeping them dependent on the government to live. This is taking out the principles of what this country achieved through hard work by Americans.

When more and more Americans lose jobs and jobs are not created by this president, more will depend on the government.

Obama will never win. When Obama destroys the tax base he destroys the economy. The wealthy will move out of the country when exorbitant taxes have to cover the cost of all the social programs and the wealthy will have to set up factories in other countries to make a profit.

Obama and his regulations on the energy companies will ultimately be passed on to the consumer making the middle class poor.

There is no success for anyone other than making this country poor and choking out any gain economically with more regulations on companies and killing jobs making more people go on welfare , unemployment and foodstamps.

What recovery? Gas prices through the roof, food prices constantly going up , and more foreclosures and people struggling with no jobs.

Keystone pipeline could put thousands back to work. Obama is shutting down coal plants and he doesn't care how high electricity goes.

Obama actions and his words do not match. I look at actions first because words are cheap.

Obama supporters are blind and we know how the people Their words were so accepted and in the end they were known to be mad men with lots of baggage and strange beliefs in a theology that was poison.
