Republicans used to have a ton of liberals in it. But 1964 Civil Rights Act happened and all of the racist white Democrats fled the Democratic party for the Republican one. The only Republicans I can even name that are fiscally conservative but socially liberal is Bob Barr and Garry Johnson and they are both members of the libertarian party. So pretty much the entire Republican party is full of extremist right wing social conservative lunatics.

If this were a sensible post, i said sensible! it would say, it is time to gear up for war on all politicians, who sing us priases, and sweet nothings. Get elected, and have their own agendas.
Sorry one side does not in anyway get a free pass for screwing up, and not the other. Neither party, is guilt free of anything, and should get their act together, or i should say Obama, and get this gosh dang economy truly going, not faking it.
And please no more promises of a fraudlent Hope n' Change.

Otherwise it constitututes an illegal "poll tax". And if it requires supporting documentation to obtain, such as an official birth certificate, that too must be provided free. States should have procedures and an affidavit process for both. We need to organize ID assistance brigades to go into poorer communities and get everybody a photo ID where needed.
2. We must target Republicans everywhere they exist. The reason they were able to take over the Congress is because we failed to stop them. The problem with lots of Democrats is that we think only the Presidential election is important enough to show up to. EVERY election is important.
3. Remember that the Presidential election is not ONE big election but 50 state elections. It is a winner take all system state by state in 49 of the 50 states (Nebraska allots Electroial College votes by Congressional district). But just because you live in a hopelessly red state does not mean you should stay home. There are Congress and Senate elections. Remember that the Federal Government is THREE branches. The Executive (President) is only one of the three. The others are just as important if we are to stop the Republicans.
