Yeah because standing up for everyone's right to vote is over the top now?
Who's stopping people from voting?
I'm saying that minorities and old people are lot less likely to be able to afford or obtain ID crap.
Bull. That's just the usual canard from the Left/dems. Don't they have an Id already? They need one to drive, to cash a welfare of SS check, to own a home, to rent a home, etc, etc.
And if they can't afford one...the STATE (taxpayers)n will pick up the tab. So..a MOOT point.
How is supporting everyone's right to vote on the wrong side of something? You are the ones pushing the new Jim Crow laws.
How is supporting one person, one vote that isn't nullified by illegal votes supporting JC laws?
Voter ID's .. It's only okay when a Nut case Lefty President says that it's okay!
Quote:
RALEIGH — Critics of requiring voters to present a photo ID at the polls say the practice would disenfranchise minority voters, and some even accuse proponents of being motivated by racism. They don’t mention, however, that a 21-member bipartisan Commission on Federal Election Reform, co-chaired by former President Jimmy Carter, advocated just such a policy in 2005.
The commission, also co-chaired by former Secretary of State James Baker, called voter identification one of “five pillars” that would “build confidence” in the integrity of federal elections. Only three of the 21 commission members voted against requiring photo identification of voters.
If all of you liberals think voter Id benefits Republicans..... er you could be right, because it would cut down on all of the illegals that vote Democratic.
That is the reason liberals are against voter ID. Dead people and illegals would not be able to vote.
Oh great. Now all of the non-white minorities and old people will be barred from voting and Republicans will take over Pennyslvania and turn into a theocracy. All of these voter ID laws benefit Republicans. If you really think this is a good thing you need to get your head checked.
You live in PA.
Are you afraid they won't let you vote?

Reason: off topic
Voter suppression is the only chance the GOP has and they know it. It's not a coincidence that they're trying this foolishness all over the country. If they were in a legitimate position to win, they wouldn't care like they haven't up until now. It's just embarrassing.
Many in the GOP think people should be able to obtain a gun without an ID but draw the line at voting. Ironically, none can show any systematic voter fraud going on anywhere. Damn shame the links some will go to maintain or regain power.

You got proof of illegals voting democrat or voting at all?
You got proof of illegals voting democrat or voting at all?
Actually you can't prove it because no verification is done by the government.
Didn't you read about the guy that registered his dog..made up a birth date and SS and 2 weeks later had a voter registration in his mailbox.
He told the press, that's how we know about it, not that the government did any verification to match that birth date with the SS number.

What are you kidding ? The illegals are going to vote Republican next time round. Obama didn't give them amnesty and they can't get into obamacare.
The illegals are going to go Republican !
