I think it is a lovely sound, also, in a primeval, haunting way. However, that's all it is to me...a sound.
But, maybe I'm weird...the sound of bagpipes gives me goosebumps and makes my heart beat a little faster...LOL
It is pretty well accepted as fact that the music one is exposed to as a child and teenager becomes entrained within the developing brain and whatever that music is you will like it for the rest of your life. I grew up on music of the '40's and '50's and I still prefer that music for casual listening more than any other kind. The same thing may well have happened to Obama and this would explain why he likes the sound of the Muslim call to prayer.
Well most churches seem to require a baptism to belong officially to their church from my understanding. In President Obama's case, since his father was a Muslim, the Muslim religion recognized him at birth as Muslim although as I have already stated that does not make him a practicing Muslim and if he had a baptism and could show some acceptable proof of that perhaps people would/could stop discussing this issue.
Having a certificate of Baptism would not prove that he is a Christian.
I think one would have a hard time finding a Christian denomination that bases their determination of whether or not a member is a Christian on the beliefs of Muslims.
Nothing is going to satisfy those who are so blinded by their hatred of Obama that they question his Christian beliefs. Many will continue to raise the issue because they believe it helps them politically.
with a middle name like Hussein? HUSSEIN? His name isn't Barack Abraham Obama. It isn't Barack Peter Obama. It isn't Barack Joseph Obama. No his name is Barack HUSSEIN Obama. His father was a Muslim from Kenya. The Islamic religion is passed through paternal lineage, so whether you like it or not he was born a Muslim. Additionally, he was raised in the Islamic faith in Indonesia where he attended a madrassa. In matters of religion he certainly seems to give Islam special consideration over the other religions of the world. Now who knows what, if any religion he currently practices. We know he sat in Reverend Wrong's hate American church for 20 some odd years. But the fact is he is a Muslim by birth and was raised a Muslim, so to stand there and claim with conviction that he's not a Muslim and to write off those who believe he is as uneducated hicks is not only bigoted and hateful but also incredibly ignorant.
Who cares? He's about to get voted out of office anyways.

Keep telling yourself that, but you better think of something else to say after November, since he will not be up for re-election after then, he will simply finish his second tour of duty and move on to private life in 2017.
A-HA! You can now give up any hope on running for office, you undercover Scotsman, you!
It is crazy...I don't know why that happens!
My father was adopted when he was a baby (around 90 yeas ago), so I don't really know my heritage on his side. Before he was adopted his last name was Bennett, but that sounds more British than Scots.
You can't fix stupid. These fine Christians on here must be the same way they accuse The POTUS. The exact same person their momma told them to be when they were 9 years old. Never had another thought or feeling Frozen in time like Groundhog Day.
