We know he sat in Reverend Wrong's hate American church for 20 some odd years. But the fact is he is a Muslim by birth and was raised a Muslim, so to stand there and claim with conviction that he's not a Muslim and to write off those who believe he is as uneducated hicks is not only bigoted and hateful but also incredibly ignorant.

I hear he is a druid-wiccan-hindu-buddhist.

-or not.

How can any sane person believe he is, or believe that it even matters?

Rationality has no place on this thread, it will just confuse them.

Malcolm X didn't claim to be a minister.

Rev. Wright isn't as bad as he's often made out, but to be fair, he is pretty obviously fixated on race.

When one considers Rev. Wright's age, his opinions make sense in context.

My 92 year old Hilary supporting mother was very concerned about Rev. Wrights sermon that she kept hearing 1 or 2 lines from on tv. We got all the entire sermons we could find on the net and listened to them.

About 1/2 way into the G-d damn America sermon, she was on her feet shouting amen. As a child in North Carolina, she saw black men hanged by mobs. It was public entertainment. Just like reality shows today.

My kids drank from black only water fountains in Beaumont, Texas and went to segregated schools. My high school home room teacher stood up in class at Lamar High School in Houston and declared she would quit teaching before she taught n------.

Rev. Wright's sermon came from pain. Pure and simple. So did my mom's amen. Anybody who does not get that will never understand half of what they see and hear.
