Since I'm not a Catholic, obviously my answer would be no... but I just had to post, and give you props for the Coffee Talk reference. LOL!

No. I am not Catholic. I don't even really think about "Catholic issues."

Not at all.

Religion is completely unimportant and should never be important in politics.

Unless a person follows their conscience.

That's nice that religion is unimportant to you.

When you become supreme dictator of the Universe perhaps you'll outlaw religious organizations, but until then, the significant number of Americans who are Roman Catholic should receive the same respect as anyone else.

Perhaps you were absent from school the day they covered the First Amendment.

I wonder if you are referring to the debate on birth control pills. I have used birth control pills and have no problem with them, but when the government starts dictating to a church it is WRONG. So yes, I am concerned that the Catholic church has to go to court to defend their right to their beliefs and not have to spend money on something that is against their church doctrine. It is more about religious freedom than it is about birth control and is a direct attack against the freedom of religion. People should flood the airways, e-mails, etc. and let the government know they are out of line and we are not going to stand for our freedoms being eroded. Getting rid of religious freedom and freedom of speech are the beginning of a communist state. And then there is the freedom to have guns too that is being attacked by this administration. Anyone in the United States that does not see the communist agenda by this administration is operating in a vacuum or their brain has just quit working.

It's true. Only religious people have a conscience

I disagree. It is important enough that I will always vote against a candidate that emphasizes religion in any way.
