They had a "make up" trial for OJ. There was no way they were going to let OJ run around and continue to frolic with white women.
Are you F'n kidding me? He lost some money in the civil trial, but served no jail in the criminal trial, and that is constitutes "paying for it for the rest of his life"??? By far, the dumbest thing I've heard today.
If you actually read through this thread, you will see that I'm being quite impartial. So, have it....take a look and see where I say that I don't believe Zimmerman intentionally killed Trayvon. And then come back and apologize.
Impartial? From the beginning you were taking the "sweet innocent boy" angle, that he was a model student. Now that info has come out that he has had his share of problems, you've not let that change your opinion at all. And now that retaliatory crime is starting, you're just downplaying it...so excuse me if I miss the impartiality.
I'm still not saying the guy deserved to die, but it's sure looking like it was partially his fault. Neither am I saying that you think Zimmerman intentially murdered him...only that you deny any responsibility on behalf of Martin.
The outrage is not centered on the 911 tape, in itself. The initial uproar was that the police did not make these tapes available to the family.
I don't see anything controversial about the gold teeth pic. The most damning pic (of a bare-chested teen putting up his middle finger) was NOT Trayvon. Do you find this pic equally threatening:
On appearence alone, would you let him date your daughter?
They HAVE to get Zimmerman on this. Or change the law. If they don't than any wannabe cop can fantasize that he is pursuing a suspect, get in over his head and then kill the person they are following using the self-denfense argument.
This is NOT what these laws were created for, and legislators are smart enough to know that.
I live in Florida. I can assure you they are not...
The more details I learn about this case, the more it seems that Zimmerman was justified in the use of force. This reminds me of the Duke Lacrosse players case.
If the shooting were opposite trayvon would be in jail already and you know it. While i can't say he's guilty for sure, the fact sure point to that. So unless they have some hard proof that the boy pulled out a weapon he had no right to kill the kid.
