Me. A commonplace accusation on here ist hat liberals are liberals because we are dependent on the government. Just wanted to see if it's true..
Are you a liberal or conservative? Do you directly benefit from any Federal Social programs?
Liberals work for a living, but feel that those who truly need help shouldn't be thrown out on the streets.
Right wingers live off of those social programs for a living, while whining and complaining non stop about the lazy bums whom are also living off the exact same programs they are
Better question... who should bear the cost of the social programs? Are you liberals paying enough just to cover yourself or covering everyone else? There is a shortage of funds, would you like to pay more, everyone to pay more, or only a small group of people to pay more? And there you have the problem... its funny "you" want to help but when it comes to paying for that help, you think otherwise...
If you don't count public roads, etc, none. I have never been on any type of public assistance. I am glad it is there for people who need it, and I'm glad that I'm in a position where I never have needed it.

I think we'll stick to my question. You're welcome to start your own thread instead of attempting to highjack mine.
<== Top tax bracket here, BTW.
