Conservatives don't care about people like you!

Did you listen to the debates early in the campaign when a crowd was actually advocating the people should DIE, if they can't find or afford health insurance?

The conservatives answer to American that are poor and lack opportunity is the same that it's been since Ronald Reagan been in office. They basically don't care. Mitt Romney said as much.

Conservatives don't care about people "like" anything. The platform of the Republican party is that all people have the same rights. So Conservatives both care and don't care about everyone equally.

You appear to confuse the Democrat willingness to pander to segments of the population for votes with sincere "caring" and the lack of willingness to give special benefits to certain people that others don't get to be "not caring". Now that makes you a good little liberal to be sure, but it does lack a certain element of critical thinking, like a little kid whining that his parents don't love him if they won't let him have extra candy.

Yes, I did. I heard the sound clip. Ron Paul said freedom is about accepting responsiblity and people cheered. He was then asked if the person should just die and he said No that as a physician he'd never seen anybody turned away for medical care and the crowd cheered again.

In between, a heckler said the person should die. Neither the candidate nor the crowd reacted to it, but liberal hacks ignored the facts and only harped on that one heckler as if he representated the entire debate.

So there was no crowd advocating people should die. A tip for you - a little honesty goes a long way in giving a person credibility.

Wow, again? No, he didn't. Intellectual honesty isn't really your strong suit is it?

He said: I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it.

So, a clue for you: If your positions are right, then the unvarnished truth will support that fact. When you need to twist reality to support your opinions, then chances are your opinions are wrong.

They have no reason to care..... they have platinum health cover for themselves and their families and it is paid for by us out of our taxes.
I can understand to a degree why some here are afraid of a UHC..... Damn if i believed the B/S that is spouted about a UHC here, i'd be afraid of it too but i have used and paid for UHC's, my family use the Australian UHC and other UHC's and i know the real benefits and drawbacks.
The system here is positively prehistoric and no one except America wants to entertain such a bad system.... wonder why?
It should NOT be the case in a Country such as Ameria that to be sick is a condemnation of you somehow and there are strict penalties because of illness. UHC's work all over the World and not one person using a UHC goes bankrupt or without good treatment... it is only America now that treats your health the same way it treats buying a new Lexus.... only for the Wealthy!

I don't see how it can be called the "affordable healthcare act" when it channels(with force) everything through our same greedy health insurance companies, same medical, and pharmaceutical establishments...NONE of whom are going to accept or stand for even 5 cents diminished profit from this legislation, rather they'll welcome potentially even increased profits.

It sounds like government socialization and subsidization of a few of our most corrupt and profiteering industries in hyperdrive. If its anything different than something which will just be a massive nail in the coffin of our already massive debt burden and forcing us to deal with greedy private industries somebody please let me know.
^This.

Yea, I feel your pain. I sympathize with anybody that has a pre-existing condition in the face of todays premiums and/or outright denial.

This country should have never gotten to this point.

The baby boomers hosed us.....

Uh, Franklin Roosevelt started SS when my mom was still in high school and she didn't even know my dad. It wasn't even "The Greatest Generation" that did that; it was the previous one.

McDonald's started up during my childhood. Ray Kroc was born in 1902.

Nice try, though.
