No, that would be Obama. Remember his attempts to establish a web site so his supporters could report those who disagreed with him? His threats to the states for daring to pass laws he disagrees with?

This wannabe dictator is so egotistical he doesn't even realize that he is disposable.

The key takeaway for opposition groups is that Speaker Pelosi needed to make a last-day deal with Rep. Bart Stupak and his small group of pro-life Democrats in order to achieve passage. That deal came in the form of an executive order from the White House.

A seven vote difference is a slim margin, not a majority.
Passed in Senate 60-39, slim indeed.

It is called the US Constitution, you idiot!

No one, not even you, are above the US Constitution.
Ron Paul is our only hope to get back to our founding roots!
I agree with you on a certain level, but not completely.

The president knew what he was saying, he isn't an idiot anymore then those in the GOP that have said the same things in the past.

Lest we forget, the supreme court has ratified social security, Medicare, and a whole host of things that Paul disagrees with.

The presidents statement was purely political, nothing more, nothing less.

I disagree with what he said, and the individual mandate, but stating anything otherwise is to ignore the reality that the court has granted the president and congress a wide range of powers not explicitly written in the constitution.

As I said before, Pres. Obama is cheerleading "his" Law, nothing wrong with that, and no different the past Presidents have done. No different then any other Legislator is doing... on either side. Everyone involved is talking tough like they have any clue how the SC will rule. Anyone reading this as a "threat" or some pretense to fascism is a partisen hack, imo.

Plus, you guys act like the SC has given it's ruling and struck it down already. No one actually knows how they will rule yet.

If the SC upholds the mandate and the ACA, will you all STILL be on their side? Or will the SC suddenly become anti-Constitutional activist judges?

I really don't see why anyone thinks there is a downside for the Prez to make the comments he has made. It's not as if the GOP could use it in campaigning against him.

Exactly why the Dems got their asses handed to them in 2010 and lost six Senate seats.

Ya, isn't it just amazing how they just forget about that. How about Neut? Heck, he would just eliminate any court he doesn't like. For the last 20 years or so I have heard a neverending wailing about court decisions coming from the right side. I think it's a very wise thing the president is commenting on the case. The court is in a tight spot. Justice Roberts as chief justice knows very well that the decision the court makes will define this court. He probably does not want to go down in history as the stooge of the obstructionist GOP. For that reason above all else I think the SCOUSA will rule in favour.

Wasn't it one of our illustrious Democratic leaders that recently said we have 3 branches of the federal government? The house, the senate and the presidency? Obama seems to have followed that line and forgotten all about the SC and the BALANCE of power. He has to remember, he was elected president, not emperor.

Should this law be ruled unconstitutional, what does it say about Obama's knowledge and ability as a professor of Constitutional law?

Exactly. Barack Obama is a bald-faced liar.
