Now first of all, as far as the politics of it, even though no President can really effect gas prices in short term, I think Obama should have approved pipelines and the Democrats like to demagogue the evil "big oil" issue. But why do people whine so much? In USA, gas is relatively low to rest of world. It just gets annoying to hear relatively well off people whining about gas all the time. Other stuff has gone up too. I mean, sell your car and ride transit if its that bad!

It's a nation of whiners. If you're not educated, not that smart and all you do is listen to others whining on talk radio, then you follow suit.

There was no problem with saying no to the pipeline as it was. TC should have done a better job up front. Arrogance on their part. The pipeline is already being built and they'll put together a plan that works. A Republican in office would likely have done the same thing, but it's been politicized so few people really know much about it.

Not everyone has access to mass transit or they still have to drive a way to get to it. The price of gas is a real problem right now. European countries are more equipped with transit systems. Their demand is far less than ours.

Riding "transit" is only an option if you HAVE transit! Not all places do!

I don't really care how much the rest of the world is paying for gas.....we've never paid as much as Europe, but it looks like we'll be right in line with them soon.

Obama really wants us to be like Europe..in everyway. He's got to go.

If I only could figure out a way to retire to Tuscany I would do so immediately. I cannot, so I will not.

If you are tired of spending so much money for fuel stay home more.

There's just something about gas prices that makes people crazy.

Just today, I was at Costco and dozens of vehicles were lined up waiting to get some $4.01 gas.....the Exxon across the street had it for $4.04 with no waiting.

It just cracked me up to see all these people sitting in their Esacalades and Benz SUVs and playing with their $600 Itoys....to save what?...ONE DOLLAR or less?
