Based on what you know, did Sadaam Hussein play a role in the 9/11 attacks?

Saddam was against Al-queda. His country had none of the al-queda followers. He he found any he would have them killed. Why would he be involved with an organization that he hates to attack a country that hates him and has troops poised to invade his country?

He might be ruthless but he's not a COMPLETE moron.

Might want to put that in the past tense.

Anyway, the answer is, no.

Saddam Hussein, the Mossad, the CIA, Bush, etc. What I think is so hilarious about 9/11 is the blame going around. Everyone is responsible except the guys who actually did it, have admitted it and boast about it constantly.

like SOME national leaders that find themselves in positions of power simply due to their family names...

I listened to General Petraeus' testimony the other day and, if you believe his comments were credible, he answered "No" when asked the question. Usama hated Saddam for his secular view of the Muslim religion. Does anyone really think Saddam, being the egotistical maniac he was, would relinquish any power to bin Ladin?
