How's that hope working for you at the gas pump? Any change left?
Gas prices under Obama have risen even more to date than during the Carter Administration.

Gas Prices Officially Double Under Obama - Katie Pavlich

Quote:
Under the Carter administration, gas prices increased by 103.77 percent. Gas prices since Obama took office have risen by 103.79 percent. No other presidents in recent years have struggled as much with soaring oil prices. Under the Reagan administration, gas prices actually dropped 66 percent. When Bill Clinton was president, gas prices grew by roughly 30 percent, and under both Bush presidencies, gas prices rose by 20 percent.

Obama Places Vast Oil Reserves Off-Limits As Gas Prices Rise - Investors.com

Quote:
After a brief rise in offshore oil production thanks to Bush administration policies, domestic production on federal lands has declined under Obama by 275,000 barrels per day from its 2010 peak and by 17,000 barrels a day since he took office in January 2009, according to a Congressional Research Service report.

The Institute for Energy Research reports that crude oil and lease condensate production on federal and Indian lands is 13% lower than in fiscal year 2010.

You of course neglect to take into account that demand was drastically reduced due to the economic crisis when Obama took office. That alone was responsible for the drastic price drop, as all markets at that time...especially commodities, which is WHERE THE PRICE OF OIL IS SET...were severely depressed.

Geez. Get something original.

Surprised he hasn't blamed Bush for this as well. It takes me 150$ to fill my vehicle up.I had to get something bigger the one I sold took around 90$ to fill up. At the beginning of Odumbo's presidency it took 60$

That's exactly what he wanted, higher gas prices. He wants you to rideable bike, use mass transit or buy an electric car. When is everyone going to understand?

The FREE MARKET sets the price.

Sucks, doesn't it?

I mean I could lie to you and tell you I just preformed a facial, pedicure, manicure and a colonoscopy all at the same time. I'll let you guess what actually happened and whether you'll be for my future exams.

The gas prices under Bush didn't drop until after election time. The same will probably happen this year. If you are truly voting based on something not controlled by the POTUS then you should have your right to vote stripped and should be beaten in front of voters and this forum and I would love to hand out the beating. I guarantee I could handle everyone here.

Overlay the Dow's average and you'll see a similar shape, at least around late 2008-2009. Something the OP wouldn't know if it bit her on the ankle.
