Nobody is asking you to change your culture. It is true in about 30 to 40 years White Americans no longer constitute a majority in this country it by no means that a cultural takeover will take. Place, various Asian nationalities, and Blacks from Africa South America, and the Caribbean have come to this country and still take pride in and practice their native culture. There is no reason White Americans can't do the same thing.
As I told you before, all that will change with continued illegal immigrtion mostly from Latino countries. American culture will change, not mine. I object to losing our American culture. It would become a Hispanic one instead. I don't care what culture one chooses to practice at home.

Its quite simple, in 35-50 years Hispanic culture will be absorbed into American Culture, just like Hot Dogs from Germany, Pizza from Italy, a**hole judges from Britain, several words from French from France, St Patricks day from Ireland ect. ect.
So you think eating ethnic foods and celebrating holidays is what this is all about? We still have an identifying culture of own while doing the above. It will be lost with a continued influx of illegal aliens from mostly one ethnic group. We would lose our "identifying" culture. Hint, we aren't a Hispanic nation in identity.

I am confused, is thread about Illegal Immigration or Hispanic Assimilation?
White-Hispanic could mean anything, because Hispanic is not a race. Hopefully, one day, racial classification won't be so important. I probably won't live to see it happen, but maybe my son or his children will.
As we both know, Hispanic is a cutural and ethnic group. As you said, race is inconsequential. The Germans were white and so were the Spaniards but their cultures and languages are entirely different. It is the loss of our cultural identity that I object to via illegal immigration.
