HOLLYWOOD TRIES TO RESCUE THE TERRORISTS FROM THE SURGE
HOLLYWOOD TRIES TO RESCUE THE TERRORISTS FROM THE SURGE

Get ready to be drowned in the Hollywood's choice awards for favorite military.

Yet so many Americans support these Hollywood, anti-America military, anti-American Celebrities.

These celebrities have every right to use their Free Speech. But you also have your rights to free speech. And if these movies and American-paid-celebrities upset you, please use your free speech as well.

You will be getting people in this thread joking and making light of these movies. But please think how our troops in the field will feel, when these movies just boosting the morale of America's terrorist enemies again.

How anti-American are you? You don't support free speech? This country was founded on the principle of free speech! It is the main reason why you can create this post and put it on a public bulletin board!

Because someone else's free speech conflicts with your free speech, you think they should be shut down... There is just something so wrong about that. Do you really think they are planning to show these films in Iraq and Afghanistan? I really doubt that.

Anyway, I'm really put off by a post that suggests that someone's free speech is more important than another person's free speech. This is America after all. Everyone is allowed to talk. If you don't like these movies, create your own that are opposite of these. No one is stopping you.

In times of war everyone should be extremely patriotic and make sure to ignore any negative aspects of our government's foreign policy (domestic policy is always fair game, however, unless it's domestic wiretapping, which is necessary and wonderful) or millitary excursions.

REMEMBER, the US government is evil and socialistic when it comes to domestic policy ("redistributing your hard-earned tax dollars to the undeserving masses," "trying to let them quairs get mared," "legalizing the MURDER of MILLIONS OF UNBORN INFANTS," "destroying the moral fabric of society," "trying to kill God and replace him with atheism,") but is, if not infallible, ALWAYS ENTIRELY NOBLE AND GOOD HEARTED in any aspect of its foreign policy, as long as a conservative Republican is president. Also, criticizing congress makes you a patriotic American, criticizing the judicial branch and their evil "activist judges" is the sign of a true American, but criticizing the president or the military he runs makes you a treasonous terrorist-sympathizer. This last aspect is awesome because once we elevate the executive branch above all others then we can REALLY start moving towards the great American Dream, enforced by law and unfettered by socialistic, Stalinist notions such as the "separation of powers," or "right to privacy," you know. Don't worry about the executive branch taking liberty with your civil liberties, as long as you're not doing anything "wrong" they won't be watching you, everyone knows government officials (at least in the venerable executive branch) are always extremely scrupulous and have no desire to monitor or know about the actions of political opponents... Richard Nixon was framed! And who needs warrants when you have God as your guide?

But enough of this off-topic rambling, I've got to get back to "choosing to breathe," "choosing to be in an upper-middle class family with a medical-supplies salesman dad," "choosing to have been born in Huntsville, Alabama," "choosing to be 22 years old," "choosing to be right-handed," "choosing to have green eyes," you know, everything that happens in your life is always your choice, in my opinion.

Yes indeed. And what is often of concern to me is the number of people who yet choose to be oblivious to the obvious...

HOLLYWOOD TRIES TO RESCUE THE TERRORISTS FROM THE SURGE

Dude, that is an awesome headline. Everybody knows the actual "War" is completely F@#$% up, so now we are down to discussing operational tactics as if that is the strategy. Forget about the "War", let's all just concentrate on the "Surge". Nice.

In times of war any DECENT RESPECTFUL person would not make movies that would comfort the enemy. In times of war any DECENT RESPECTFUL person would have some compassion and be aware that in this conflict there are the sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters and friends of Americans, their fellow Americans. Like the amnesty plan Americans joined together and through phone calls, emails and faxes we were able to stop it from passing. Hollyweird and those against the war could use the same tactic without aiding and abetting the terrorist. That would just not do because their real interest is in hearing their own voices disparaging America through any means possible. They are not going to care if what they do or say inflames the enemy and possible kills someone’s child.

We are living in times where degenerates, traitors, the foul and the freaks are coddled if not celebrated. What is interesting is they are the very kind of people the Middle Eastern culture would have hanging from street poles, possibly with their head still intact.

It’s not free speech they support; it is foul speech they rally around. We have long given up going to movies which are usually filled with profanities and left wing propaganda.

Go to a high school. Look at the kids that are 17/18 years old and think of them with guns in their faces, maybe watching their friend killed. You have to be one heartless b*stard to want to do anything that would put them in further harms way.

Don’t like the war? Call, write, email and fax but do not aide the enemy.

What’s even more outrageous is those that are the first to cry “free speech” are also the first that would try to restrict yours.

Do you think you blew that one out of proportion just a little? You jumped off the deep end with crap. Here's what he said.

"These celebrities have every right to use their Free Speech. But you also have your rights to free speech. And if these movies and American-paid-celebrities upset you, please use your free speech as well. "

And you construed that to mean that he's saying they shouldn't have the right to free speech? Talk about flinging crap and making things up.

These movies will in fact get to the troups. The military has a rec set up to where movies are sent over seas so that the troups can go to a make shift movie house and watch the latest flicks just like we do.

If the left wants to demoralize the troups when the troups are doing exactly what they are ordered to do, it's just wrong.

The article says that the actors and producers say, "This will end the war." Yeah, it'll get all our troups killed. They don't have a choice if this war is going or not, the politicians make that call. This is using the age old tactic called, "Jane Fonda". Make the troups feel bad so they'll want to come home. Well you know what? They already want to come home. Something like this will only make them feel bad for the enemy and that will only get them killed.

It's the typical left response.. first amendment, first amendment, but don't use it on me... good thing I don't live on a one-way street..

and the day we need crappy hollywood producers running a war I'll be heading somewhere else to live.. I wish people would just completely stop supporting hollywood. I very rarely go to any movies anymore and there are so many I won't go to just because of who is starring in them. Pieces of garbage like johnny the I probably can't use the term for this kind of pirate on this forum depp and george do as I say and don't question me clooney aren't allowed in my house. I'd rather steal one of their dvd's than give them a penny of my cash.
good thing is most of them don't make anything I'd be caught dead watching, especially that tim burton fool or madonna..

LOL the last few movies we went to we walked out. Stupid movies with stupid dialog but here look at this butt! Today’s movies are all about vomit, vulgarity, sex, degenerates or every gross sound the body can make. That is the new hollywood. It’s like they have a love affair with the foulest lowly people they can find and want to bring us down to their level.

Right...there's article after article in my local paper about these lefties trying to skirt the First Amendment somehow. No, wait...it's always right-leaning groups that seem to be doing that. And come to think of it, these laws against murder are always used to go after those who kill people, never the ones who get killed. Talk about your one-way streets...
