"The O’Mara Law Group received discovery regarding the George Zimmerman case just after 5:00 PM on Monday, May 14. The discovery package included 67 compact discs and numerous hardcopy documents, including the State’s Discovery Exhibit and Demand for Reciprocal Discovery. The discovery also includes witness statements, 911 calls, non-emergency calls, photos, video, medical records, and more. Mr. O’Mara and staff will now begin the process of examining the information that has been provided. Please remember and understand that it is inappropriate for us to comment on particular pieces of evidence."
"We have had numerous media requests asking us to respond to reports that an unidentified person has produced a gun range target meant to represent Trayvon Martin. We feel we must go on record as stating that we unequivocally find this appalling and disgusting in every regard. It is an insult to the Martin family, it inflames the already heated social tension surrounding the George Zimmerman case, and it represents an irresponsible approach to gun ownership. It is this type of hatred that will make it more difficult to try this case."
Autopsy results show Trayvon Martin had injuries to his knuckles
Two stories breaking here.
Both stories seem (yes they do) to support everything Zimmerman has said!
ABC News Exclusive: Zimmerman Medical Report Shows Broken Nose, Lacerations After Trayvon Martin Shooting
Quote:
A medical report compiled by the family physician of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a "closed fracture" of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.
Zimmerman faces a second degree murder charge for the Feb. 26 shooting that left the unarmed 17-year-old high school junior dead. Zimmerman has claimed self defense in what he described as a life and death struggle that Martin initiated by accosting him, punching him in the face, then repeatedly bashing his head into the pavement.
ABC News Reports Medical Records Support George Zimmerman’s Account Of Broken Nose And Scalp Injuries
A serious concern for sure. Is this going to be like the Duke Lacrosse trial? I also wonder what will happen to the funeral director who apparently lied when he said Trayvon had no marks or abrasions on his hands?
ABC News Reports Medical Records Support George Zimmerman’s Account Of Broken Nose And Scalp Injuries
Not quite "life threatening injuries."
I wondered why you wouldn't link the article from ABC news directly. So I looked it up on ABC news and I think I now understand why.

But the report also shows Zimmerman declined hospitalization the night of the shooting, and then declined the advice of his doctor to make a follow-up appointment with an ear nose and throat doctor.
In addition to his physical injuries, Zimmerman complained of stress and "occasional nausea when thinking about the violence." But he was not diagnosed with a concussion. The doctor noted that it was "imperative" that Zimmerman "be seen with [sic] his psychologist for evaluation."
