This is not a translation it is an abomination!!!!!
Why do they want to keep changing the word of God to their own understanding?

Was this a Bible Obama had the Islamic Brotherhood approve or something?
Seriously, sounds like our teacher's union school books these days, doesn't it?

Everyone interprets it in their own way. At least that is what I am told.

Obviously an agenda going on here.

And Vanderbilt University, a leading research university, and originally founded as a Methodist school with a focus on religious studies, has recently banned Christian clubs from requiring their leaders to proclaim a devotion to Christ.

Connect the dots, people. Somebody wants Christians to disappear. And they are working from within.

Oh no, another translation of the Bible!

Because that's never been done before!

So, you've read the original in its original language?

BTW, just where does one find the original?

There is a movement to get Religion out of society for a long time, so this doesn't surprise me.
Who sponsored this Bible and why?

Theologians OK With Bible Translation Replacing 'Jesus Christ,' 'Angel'

I'd wager many Christians don't even know the meaning or origin of the word "Christ". To those, it's probably just a special holy word without any particular meaning behind it. I think it's interesting to make that meaning available and known. Nothing is taken away here.

All the huffing and puffing without knowing what's being huffed and puffed about doesn't surprise me, either.

But that would go directly and blatantly against the first amendment. So, instead these sneaky individuals are attempting to infiltrate religions (currently Christianity) and profoundly change them from within. A few generations from now, who will remember what was really in the Bible...That, I believe, is their goal.

This is one of the "religions" certain groups would love to have future generations only be aware of.
