You are accusing another entity of job killing at Walmart. That is beyond insane. How many jobs has Walmart killed by having their crap manufactured in China as opposed to the USA? How many small business has Walmart killed so that they can employ people at minimum wage with no benefits?

This was a really dumb thread on the day it was created, and it has only gotten dumber with age. Personally, I would be embarrassed to have come up with this crap.

Didn't Walmart have an incident involving an elderly female greeter not too long ago. Can't quite recall what it was, but wasn't there some talk of not having the greeters anymore for liability concerns or something? Sorry, I am sketchy on this.........

Default No President can reverse Peak Oil

I was told they no longer have the greaters....that means on both sides they are gone and the one at the garden entrance is gone...meaning 3 jobs killed!

Recently I heard on the radio and tv that Walmart with their clientele can't increase the prices so much to compensate for the high gas prices, so they have to take other measurements to stay profitable...

Obama just killed 3 jobs per store, that is hundreds of jobs Nation wide.

Lowes and Kohls stopped with employers discount, and that means that later on the only cut there is will be to cut jobs!

Obama has so much fun going on the late night shows, singing and going to a University to get the crowd in his favor talking about his student loan debt...

Why didn't Obama mention how great it was to even be accepted into Harvard and his wife in Princeton...my child wasn't and so many others can't even get in and if they get in can they afford it...well he could and he hardly worked as a lawyer after graduating and than to come up with that bs story like we will fall over no believe a word he says.

I'm sorry to see the greeters go and lose their job they seem to enjoyed what they were doing, but I understand that Walmart has to look at the balance sheet.
Anti-Obama drones should study a major cause of the recession that goes under-reported. No President can reverse the geological peak in oil production, which has raised energy costs to the point where business-as-usual is very difficult. The current economic growth model is based on the notion of endless cheap energy, which is a thing of the past (renewable sources may never replace the scale of fossil fuels).

People don't understand that constant growth is just a phase in human history, not a perennial right. Prepare yourself for a recession that may never really go away. There may be a continual shrinkage of the economy in accordance with the limits of nature, which Man has arrogantly exceeded.

Then you might want to tell Obama to mquit the whining and blaming of Bush for everything.

Charity is also good business. When the Brown Bomber fell on hard times, one of the Vegas casinos gave him a job greeting patrons. He was broke but made millions for the venues he fought in. It was good for business for a casino to show they had compassion for a loser.
