He needs to answer tomorrow in front of the judge to why he lied and allow his family to lie for him. Instead his lawyer will face the music unless they recall Zimmerman back and lock him up. His credibility will be questioned all the way at this point.
Well now the lawyer can get paid which will make him happier and will help with the money to dig up all the trash being hidden about regarding this case. Good for him.

He's not running away and is ammasing a war chest for the cost of the trial. Good for him, what is the problem?

This is another sign of dishonesty from Zimmerman and his family. They should have had all information together before bond hearing. The attorney should have known to make sure all pieces where in place. This is a possible
mess.

In any event, if his defense cost ends up being 500k-1 million, he'd be better off putting the money in someone elses name, pleading guilty manslaughter, and doing like 7 years in prison.
Bankruptcy is better than pleading to false manslaugher and getting even 7 days in jail.

I remember the site went up because all these other places were claiming to collect money for him that were frauds.

Are you from Mars or something? How does trying to raise money for your own defense when you are broke a sign of dishonesty. I think it is a sign of wisdom since he is a target by crazy people.

I was referencing your use of "railroaded."

He didn't disclose it as his bail hearing where he claimed to be broke.

He'll most likely walk away with some kind of conviction anyway so he might as well save money in the process.

Last time I check, lying to a judge under oath is a crime. It's not about the money. It's about his attempt to cover up yet another hole he dig. But to do it so earlier in case is GLORY for the prosecutors. They are going to use this to the best to prove this guy and his family have little credibility. The judge could charge him with criminal contempt. It's not good to start off your case with lies when the whole country is watching. If he lied about this, why would the judge or jury believe his side of the story! That's the problem!
