Well, what do you think?

We have a fair amount of plain talkers here about positions which politicos gloss over with rhetoric and promises.

What if someone came out and stated all of our troubles and said the nonensense stops now. He/She then goes on to enumerate:

Medicare out of control
Bloated Federal govrnment
Lazy workforce
Greedy corporations
Entitlement mentality
Ruinous military budgets
Poorly considered foreign trade agreements
Patchwork tax codes
Corruption in public office
Broken borders

etc.etc. All of our favorite topics over the years.

Personally, I don't want a politician to be talking about that there are problems. That everybody does. What I want to hear is their outlined plan, its pros and cons and real world sampling of their ideas at work (historical will do), followed by an engagement in a politically incorrect political debate.

No, they would not.

People rag on the "hope and change" thing, but the truth is, Bush was selling the same thing. And Clinton before him, and Bush before him , and so on...

That's what politics is all about... not reality.

Until you look closely, it did, complete with implications of realities.

Plain talking people are usually clueless. Why would you want Forrest Gump type answers? I'll take someone educated and competent. Nobody hires a plain talking nobody to run a corporation. Why would you want one to run government?
