Well this is new and improved underwear with no metal so they will have to make everyone go through a body scanner now AND a pat down. Just wait and see.

Uh...the guy is an undercover SAUDI agent who was inside al Queda of Yemen. He volunteered to be the suicide bomber in their plot and delivered himself, and the new bomb, to his bosses. They shared information with the CIA all throughout the mission.

It's not a "manufactured" terrorism case. It's a brilliant piece of spy-work.

This original post is a good example of the danger of doing drugs.

So would you would prefer to board a plane with a bomb on it?

I don't fly anymore. But please, go ahead and subject yourself to the TSA and tighter restrictions here in the USA for actions taken in OTHER COUNTRIES.

Are you really suggesting thats a valid option?

I prefer the government do their job behind the scenes and not run around telling the world how scared the public is over boarding a plane with a bomb on it.

It makes logical sense to commit acts against oneself, if it's for "the greater good" with regards to rubber stamping a more aggressive foreign policy.

In about a month I will be flying for a little under 3 hours to a vacation destination.

The alternative is 2-3 days of driving (each way) with 5 teenagers.

I laugh at the few minutes of TSA screening process.

I have to take my shoes off and walk through a scanner? Maybe have a little pat-down? Oh the horror! The horror!
