I'm not a fan of either party but your accusing the left for what the right is known for.

Just to clearify, the Ten Commandments may have some good guidance, such as You shall not murder, but I would also remind those that want it in the schools that 4 of the Commandments are not directed towards anything other than worship of the Christian/Jewish God, that my friends is promoting one religion over others and against the seperation of church and state. The only fair thing for all is no religion teaching in public schools, that is the job of the Church and the Parents, if you want your children to be taught religion in school send your children to a religious school, it is not your right to force your beliefs on others.

Wrong. Read it again.

It states, and I quote; " peoples beliefs and opinions concerning..." so if you have the belief and/or opinions that there is no higher power to worship you could be established as a religion.

Alright - so, clearly, you lack the ability to read the very definition you provide. Either that, you are being deliberately deceitful.

Here is the COMPLETE sentence - from your link: As you can see, you conveniently decided to only include the first part of the definition only to leave out the part about deities...

"people's beliefs and opinions concerning the existence, nature, and worship of a deity or deities, and divine involvement in the universe and human life"

So, which is is: Lack of reading ability or deliberate deceit to make something fit your ideology?

And before you accuse me of making this stuff up, here is your post that includes the link to the definition:

The definition of religion says nothing about having to believe in a higher power. Religion is defined as a set of beliefs, is atheism not a set of beliefs?

You're not making sense because the federal government doesn't run the public schools.

What do I mean by "follow the constitution"? I mean the public schools shouldn't be promoting religion by posting the Ten Commandmnets or any other religious texts. That appears not to have occurred to you.

They do seem to like to start out their young control freak careers with our school, probably because they know they have a government funded, captive audience, with liberal teachers and administrators

Can't have historical reminders of the founding of the nation, and our laws were heavily influenced by things like the Ten Commandments.
I think in history class when they learn about the puritans beliefs that God wanted all Indians killed and cleared out would be enough historical reminder of the founding of this nation where religion is concerned.
This is the problem with enacting laws based on bibles, commandments, etc. They lack logic. It's harmful. That's what history shows.

I'm not the petty poster that's going to accuse you of making things up and I have very good reading comprehension.
Do you not have the belief and opinion that no such deities exist? The definition doesn't say "In order to be a religion you have to believe in divine involvement." It says you have to have an opinion on the subjects listed.

Atheism is a religion in the same way not collecting stamps is a hobby.

Or the same way that bald is a hair color.
Or clear is a color.
Or abstinence is a sexual position.
