ACLU Sues Over 10 Commandments Display at Narrows High School in Virginia | Video | TheBlaze.com

And if you don't like the blaze, here is another source.

Court orders mediation in Ten Commandments case » Local News » Bluefield Daily Telegraph, Bluefield, WV

This is ridiculous! I hope the school wins. Whether they win or not, someone will find out who the student is and the Atheists will give him/her money for college. Rewarding whiners.

Whatever happened to schools being a place for learning? Why is there a need to put up religious displays?

Is it a religious school? If not then I agree. It has no place in public schools.

Tell you what. Let's make a new law. Schools can display the Ten Commandments as long as there is a Qur'an on display next to it.

Deal?

This is settled law. Public schools may not establish religion.

Stone v. Graham , 449 U.S. 39 (1980): In this case the Supreme Court struck down a Kentucky statute requiring the posting of a copy of the Ten Commandments, purchased with private contributions, on the wall of each public school classroom in the State. They ruled that this Act has no secular legislative purpose, and therefore is unconstitutional as violating the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

Schools are no place for religion.
