First, Cuban president Raul Castro's daughter announced that the Cuban regime may soon legalize gay marriage.
Then New Zealand's prime minister John Key announced his own support for gay marriage. The announcement meanss that the three main parties in th New Zealand parliament support gay marriage, and Key has suggested the government could soon consider a private member's bill from the opposition on the subject.
Now Croatia's president Zoran Milanovic has announced that the government will soon be introducing legislation to allow for gay marriage. If passed, it would be the first country in Eastern Europe and the first Slavic country to legalize gay marriage.
Seriously pathetic that America is so backwards. Cuba is going to pass gay marriage before we do.
We should carry that distinction with pride. You see....gay pride is not the only source of pride that counts in America. In fact, adhering to our Judeo Christian heritage is more pride-worthy than embracing and legitimizing perversity.

Proud of bigotry. Well I guess do we have much in common with the Middle East.

You know how you can tell when you have a liberal newbie on the forum? The word "bigot" and "bigotry" is the adjective of choice. Eventually, you'll understand that having an opposing view does not necessarily equate to being a "bigot." But as long as you're still wet behind the ears, we'll expect you not to understand as much.

Having opposing views does not make you a bigot but when you oppose people getting married because your outright hatred of gays, then yes that is bigotry. Plan and simple isn't it?

It's like saying I hate redheads because they are genetically different. That's bigotry. You can cut say it's an opposing view, which it's true. However, it's not in the same way some people dislike pepperoni. It's like saying you don't want Asians to get married because they are Asian. That's bigotry. Homosexuality is genetic. It's not a choice. Even if it were, you're trying to reduce rights is bigoted.
Thanks for the condescension, but I truly don't need it. Esp not from somebody that bases modern public policy on a desert scribblings. Also not from a person who clearly is a little behind on what the term "bigot" means. Good Luck!

why would we want to be like a anti semetic country like New Zeland (bans shichita) or a communist country like Cuba?

Ah yes, we should also be proud of being a warmongering, greedy, corrupted, Empire.
Our heritage is not very Judeo-Christian. Most American Christians behave nothing like Christ, and hardly any Jewish laws exist in our government.
