I'm with you this is as far as I'm going with this story. I'll rely on others on here to keep me updated. I don't want to see this guy's face after he gets out of the hospital either.
No. That's strictly a subjective opinion. I just cannot even imagine that, with the drug use we have and have had for decades, that this would be a common occurrence for someone who was just high on something. Drugs may have tipped him into complete psychosis but I think it likely there were some pretty severe mental issues even without drugs.
Of course a lot of people become mentally ill because of drug use. And there are some drugs and mixes of drugs that are more likely to destroy the mind. And drugs have been behind some pretty messed up occurrences, Jeffry Dahmer for example -- and a lot of what is going on in Mexico:
A 5-year-old Mexican boy whose eyes were allegedly gouged out by his mother as part of a drug-fueled ritual "to save the world" is expected to live, but has been left completely blind, health authorities said Friday.
Most of the others present at the time were relatives, including the boy's aunt and uncle, and authorities said the adults appeared to have been consuming unspecified drugs.
The 22-year-old aunt allegedly held the boy while the mother gouged out his eyes, apparently with her fingers.
