Homosexuality is no worse than pedophilia, bestiality, incest, adultery or any other sexual sin. There are hypocrites throughout humanity, including churches. We are all sinners. Homosexual behavior is sin.
How can you honestly compare two people in a loving committed relationship (who are innately gay or lesbian), to harmful and mostly criminal behaviors like those you posted?
That's just sick and really offensive. Not just to gay and lesbian people, but their families and friends, or any rational person.

Lets see which sin is worse. The sin of letting millions of people go hungry when fat ass Christians toss food in the garbage...or someone doing something with their genitals that might not be customary?
Sin or sinister behaviors come in many shapes and degrees. Supposed religious people who focus on what people are doing in their bed rooms and not on suffering- corruption..genocide...murder...and others evils are taking the easy way out- Instead of being a real Christian and standing up - and putting your life on the line for real issues.........................They go for the low hanging fruit and easy targets--like gay people...
If you want to be a true Christian- Go to Rome and tour the Vatican - and while you are there - kick over a few tables and maybe give a few bad priests a good whipping---I doubt that to days Christians have the guts of a Christ...so they go around kicking dogs instead of taking on the lions.
Why? Who had long hair? The only men the Bible says had long hair were the Nazarites, such as Samson and John the Baptist. The Bible says nothing about the length of Jesus's hair. What kind of point are you trying to make? That artists of the Middle Ages didn't know what Jesus looked like? Of course they didn't! They even painted Roman soldiers with armor from the Middle Ages. What is your point? Do you even have one?
Another Whooooooosh!
Have all the churches with their stained glass windows, large crosses with Jesus on them, Children's illustrated Bibles etc been wrong for so many years?
If they were/are wrong, then what else might they be wrong about?
Or was Paul wrong when he wrote that it was against nature and shameful for a man to have long hair?
If he was wrong, then what else might he have been wrong about?
The sad (and scary) part of this story is how so many people hide behind the church while bashing, keeping down, or otherwise keeping separate those who are different then them.
"See those two gay guys over there? Let's keep them away from us! Because God said so!"

The true sad thing is how bigoted the Homosexuals are towards others beliefs, you don't have a clue if one of those people has ever bashed a Homosexual.
Actually he is following the precepts of Christ, love one another, judge not etc. The United Church of Christ leans towards the progressive end of the theological spectrum and many of their churches are totally open and affirming - i.e. they recognise that gays & lesbians are loved and welcomed int God's family just as much as the hetero's.
Christ did not teach acceptance and tolerance of sin.
The problem is you are attempting to confuse the difference between the sinner and the sin. One can still denounce sin and not judge the sinner.
Otherwise your mention would mean we would also have to accept murder, theft, etc... as acceptable because to denounce it would be to judge the sinner. We both know that is not the case.
On the other hand, preachers who condemn homosexuals in their sermons will likely notice more money in the plates. So don't be surprised in seeing more videos of preachers doing that in their churches.
A preacher should condemn all sin, but point out that we are all sinners. That we must condemn the sin, but open our arms to the sinner in helping them to avoid sin, that to judge the sinner is not our duty, but to condemn and separate ourselves from sin is as the scripture explains.

not true. part of the various old testament laws were those AGAINST homosexuality. and jesus said he came not to abolish the law but to UPHOLD it. and when he said love they neighbor as you love yourself, he didnt mean that adam and steve should be able to marry, rather he meant dont hate your neighbor. in other words hate the sin, love the sinner.

Which "those people"? Are you referring to the imaginary people in the imaginary conversation I wrote in the post of mine that you quoted?
Now I've seen everything...
