Since both Obamacare and the AZ immigration case might be decided today, I thought I'd post the live SCOTUS blog link with a discussion thread. They say it's likely immigration will be decided today with the possibility of Obamacare also. Anyway, here it is:
It looks like requiring police checking the immigration status of those arrested is OK, but a lot of the rest of the law is not OK.
Have to wait for the details. But I cant imagine why anyone would take issue w/ checking status of someone arrested. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that and it should be done.
Seems for now, key parts of Arizona Law are upheld. Which is good news.
