Since both Obamacare and the AZ immigration case might be decided today, I thought I'd post the live SCOTUS blog link with a discussion thread. They say it's likely immigration will be decided today with the possibility of Obamacare also. Anyway, here it is:

How do they decide when to release the decisions? Ive thought theyve already had the decision for a while. So why the wait? Just release it already.

9th circuit reversed in part and affirmed in part on the AZ immigration case...

It looks like requiring police to check the immigration status of those arrested is OK, but a lot of the rest of the law is not OK.

Have to wait for the details. But I cant imagine why anyone would take issue w/ checking status of someone arrested. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that and it should be done.

So can AZ deport illegals arrested on unrelated charges?

Seems for now, key parts of Arizona Law are upheld. Which is good news.
