As it stands now, it is the best option for me financially. It will be for a lot of other people too.

That's exactly it. I wonder why people aren't getting that. Doesn't at ALL help people get care, just increased their costs via paying more taxes.

Yes and those people who take the bus pay for insurance inside their fee when they ride. However for the millions in this country who do drive, they are required to have insurance for their vehicle. You're paying for insurance one way or the other trust me. One "forces" you to when you take the bus and the other "forces" you to when you drive a personal vehicle.

Much like health care right now the insured drivers carry the cost of those who are not, it's built into the price and rates are high as a result.

Regardless of state of federal, it's still government requiring you to purchase a product.

Agreed. But, I think you should plan on buying the mandated insurance in the future. Eventually, the State will have to plug that hole. Otherwise, it's not going to work.

By giving them more readily available access to healthcare that they didn't have before.

Emergency rooms will be less burdened by dead beats, who show up, get treated, and skip out on the bill. Leaving the hospitals with an unpaid bill passed on to those with insurance.

Thanks for asking.

The GOP loses bigtime here because they have had DECADES to provide some sort of healthcare overhaul for Americans but refused to do so. Now they continue to object to the healthcare law, despite the SC ruling, and still don't have a plan for Americans as an alternative.

Though we heard it really late here (11 PM), I rejoice that there was a bathroom here, as projectile vomiting on the rugs would have made a real mess. My condolences, for those still in the states. All I can say is, "I didn't do it'.
