You know what happens when you get huge bills like that? You get crap that is as screwed up as our tax code.
Our government has become a complete sick joke.
Maybe those who write them should be required to explain them in detail, that might cut down the length.
Ridiculous. Laws are complicated. Senators don't have time for reading every word of a bill. Rand Paul just wants to stop the government from doing anything.

Rand Paul is the a-hole who tried to hold up funding to make sure Federal flood insurance can payout on claims b/c he wanted the bill to include a personhood amendment.
And this has exactly what to do with a great idea??

Is it acceptable to add a 300 page amendment to "The most profound piece of legislation to come to this floor in 100 years" at 3AM the day of the vote?

Nice deflection.
Now, shouldn't law makers actually READ bills before they vote on them?
I fully understand that the CBC won't, because of illiteracy, but everyone else should!
He's fighting the BAU. Good for him but there's no enough of his type in Congress.
Really sad that they have to pass a law requiring bills be read before they are passed.
I wonder if anyone will read his bill about reading bills .....
I betcha Pelosi won't ! She doesn't read them until after they are passed.

You really expect people to want these clowns voting on bills that they have no clue as to what is in them?
You really want this kind of leadership?
And this has exactly what to do with a great idea??

My point is that I don't trust anything coming out of this crackpot's mouth.
