I think that I know the "provisions" of the healthcare law pretty well. Here is the downside-
1. It is the largest tax increase in US history
2. the nation cannot afford a huge entitlement when we are broke
3. the projected cost is nearly double what was estimated only two years ago
4. Businesses are not hiring, as they are waiting to see the impact on thier expenses
5. Employers approaching 50 employees will be better off to stay small as a business
6. it does nothing to control costs
7. while the CBO states that it does not "reduce" medicare benefits, it robs $500 billion from medicare- reduced PAYMENTS, not benefits, will be the result. With reduced payments to providers, many will no longer take medicare, limiting access. Further, reduced payments limits drug and treatment options for seniors. While the "benefits" remain, the consequences of reduce payments means reduced options for seniors.
I got #3 wrong saying medicare benefits will not be cut. Hey, with Obamacare , medicare is being cut by 500 billion , something has to go. I got this right, and they got it wrong.
No you got it wrong.
Anybody in Medicare Advantage was grandfathered so it doesn't effect them
Medicare Advantage was a horrible overpriced program that cost tax payers 20% more than regular medicare.
Even the AARP was against it.
Now you may be referring to the cuts to care providers via greater cost controls.
That didn't effect your benefits and you should be glad the program is getting more cost efficient.
That was one that I answered the same way. There is no way they can cut $500,000,000,000 from Medicare without cutting. I'm sorry that is a whopper on Obama and the Dems!
Will the health reform law cut benefits that were previously provided to all people on Medicare?
No, the law will not do this. You answered "Yes, the law will do this." No. The law reduces payments to the privately administered Medicare Advantage plans, but they will still be required to provide all benefits that are covered by traditional Medicare.

I'm calling bull ****!
Yea, you can't read. Try reading the question again. Medicare Advantage customers were "grandfathered".
Sorry you got it wrong. I'd recommend less FOX news.

Mmm...no. You don't get to pass a law that says people acting freely in the market place will accept reduced payments yet continue offering the same benefits because the law says, to participate, they have to make the fuzzy numbers ad up.
The reduced payments, and there are lots of them, will cause healthcare providers to stop accepting new Medicare patients, reduce access for current patients or to simply retire, and nothing the Medicare Independent Payment Advisory Board does will change that.
I missed #2 because I didn't realize the death panels had been dropped from the original plan.
Thank you, Mrs. Palin.
I seriously doubt you got 9 out of 10, seriously.
