Seriously, I have never read anyone who knocks their own family member as much as you have.
We've all "sacrificed" something in our lives. I have said nothing against my nephew - he's a good guy who chose the military as his career. He's never been in combat, has always been either stateside or in Europe, has always had his family with him, and has been well taken care of by the US Air Force for the past 20+ years. My problem is not with him, but with you and others who insist on making all military personnel into heroes, when all are clearly not.

I "continually espouse" nothing - you, on the other hand, are becoming tedious with your incessant insistence on psychoanalyzing your fellow posters....

Sadly, you do not realize that your liberal "core beliefs" were dictated through the Frankfurt School (via Stalin) to the US in order to destablize the west. The mission was to disrupt the family, the church, and the middle class to make the west more "fertile" for socialism/communism. Most liberal policy has been designed to destroy these "impediments". Witness embracing the drug culture, gay marriage, welfare, single parent families, attacks on the church, celebrating Islam, the women's movement, NAFTA and China most favored nation trade status, opposing national right to work acts. You see, liberalism is just TOTALITARIANISM with a different "wrapper" that is designed to convince liberals they are actually "moral" and on the side of good in the world. Quite the opposite is true. The term "useful idiots" has been used by our enemies to describe the left in the US. Perhaps the left should take inventory of why our enemies would find the left so useful to them.

I have my core beliefs based in Jefferson.
You have your core beliefs based in Stalin.

Did you recently read this cute theory on some blog somewhere?

Sounds like you've been itching to learn us all something new!

I don't "think" it's fraud - it is fraud. Fraudulently stealing 10 dollars is still stealing 10 bucks. Is it the amount you steal that determines whether the stealing is moral/acceptable/correct or not? Do I have a free-pass to take 10 bucks from you wallet should we ever be nearby?

I walked into a bar on Bourbon Street filled Sailors drinking Cosmopolitans and watching Judy Garland impersonators.

I immediatley went to Subway and bought thirty Subways for these Great Americans.

There should be no support for wars that are based on lies.

I tip my hat to you. A quick read of the responses here gives a clear picture of just a small part of what is wrong with this country...it's not the government, it's the people.

I actually did buy some Giants fans a beer at the Metrodome in 2009 when the Vikes beat them like 44-10 or something like that. I felt bad for them, they had all their gear on and were really cool. So I bought them a beer.
