It's all just government drug war propaganda..both parties engage in it, spending billions while doing the bidding of those that benefit from the WoD..
Drug warriors will continue to insist that marijuana is a dangerous gateway drug depsite what doctors, scientists and peer reviewed studies may claim is true. Post hoc ergo propter hoc is meaningless when the lives of kids are at stake. Drug warriors are just like religious fundamentalists, they have their beliefs and no facts are ever going to change them.
IMO, I think that indoor plumbing is the true gateway drug. In study after study, it has been proven that virtually 100% of all heroin and meth addicts began using toilets, showers and other indoor plumbing fixtures prior to using heroin, meth, alcohol, marijuana or any other drug.
Anybody that went to high school knows potheads are more likely to use other drugs than kids that just drank a lot of beer.
