They are part and parcel of the same thing... The health care bill is damaging the economy.. As are many other issues that the democratic party refuse to see affect it. It's even a large portion of the GOP that aren't facing reality. It isn't about party, it's about making this nation stable again

Voters already took responsibility through their elected officials, the destroy your country part grows tiresome, same arguments against social security and medicare.

Nothing more, nothing else. I'm still trying to hear a Republican alternative, haven't heard one yet though.
Would that Republican alternative amount to anything in the present Congress? Since Dirty Harry won't allow the Senate to debate any of the over 30 jobs bills that have been sent to it I doubt he would allow any discussion of anything like that. What would be the sense in passing a bill to replace Obamacare? Maybe it would be better to wait until after the election and then consider a replacement that fits some of the things that are good about Obamacare without all the excessive taking of power for the federal government that Obamacare provides.

I am in favor of a bi-partisan law worked out in committees of Congress not this thing that was written in Reid's offices by so many non-Senators and voted in by Democrats only. Bi-partisan written and passed would be much better, as far as I am concerned.

It is a landslide, considering what it was. Yes, those people are afraid of what may well be very close elections in their districts and fear may have been the reason.

DINOS you say? Hell any time they don't vote strict party line you have to call them that, huh?

Default 5 democrats side with republicans in house voting to repeal obamacare

All the talk prior to the vote was that the GOP was hoping for 30 or more Dems to vote with them. They were counting on Dems from districts where the ACA is unpopular in recent polling to vote for the repeal so they'd look better to the folks back home.

Didn't play out that way.

I know that Harry Reid doesn't like bi-partisanship but for some reason he seems to be afraid of allowing a vote in the Senate about the bills like this one. He has tabled over 30 House bills about jobs, too. Useless is a man who doesn't have the guts to take a chance on doing business in Congress as the Constitution calls for.

If you can't see that this vote has a lot to do with the economy you don't really know a lot about the law I call Obamacare. Maybe that is real focus on our economy.

"Ideological purity does NOT solve problems" - President Obama
If Obama actually said something like why do we have a law passed by ideological purity that no one on the other side voted for. I don't think that you and Obama really understand ideological purity.
