Sound Politics: Voter Suppression! Voter Suppression!
This is a conservative blog here in the Seattle area. It has been kind of dying on the vine over the last year or two, but still can come up with good stuff from time to time. The blog's founder is a software guy named Stefan Sharkansky who has done yeoman work in investigating voting and election issues around here. He also once made $225,000 by successfully suing the county for a pubic records violation.

And it's not just that these signatures were from fake people, or non-citizens, or even people who weren't registered voters at the time they signed: some of the signatures were eliminated simply because these were legal voters, but were part of a purge of the voter rolls, and so they were effectively un-registered by the time the petitions were being verified.
