She doesn't have to obtain the skills necessary to work that 60 hour/week salaried job the sucker who has to commute to Philly for his IT job. She can just clock in and out at her health care front desk job at 9 to 5, on the dot.

to me this is the same thing as fixing your taxes in a way where you get the best deal.

the system is in place, people are going to take advantage of it. its the ones who dont that are stupid imo.
Those other deductions are not focused on promoting sloth. When you take a mortgage interest deduction, you are taking on the responsibility and risk for owning a house, for example.

Ugh, again.

You can only get welfare for a life time maximum of 5 years. Its been that way since Clinton.

And yes, you might get some food stamps, housing vouchers, etc, but those things take time. Not to mention that 29,000 still isn't 70,000, and people want to make more money, to buy more stuff.

Best bet is to be a clerk or admin assistant. That will get you right around that exact salary. Structure your pregnancies and claim different baby daddies on them. Maximization relies on appearing a victim of society. You can also augment your salary by working under the table and not reporting.

If you're a guy, you're likely SOL on some of these.

29,000 is not 70,000, but it's about 60K something. Plus, you have more flexibility to take vacations since you're not having to slave away at a salaried position. You have just as much disposable income at 29K than you do at 60K+.

You can also structure welfare by going back to work and going off.

The King's executive order also allowed bed rest, keeping a journal, getting massaged, and preparing motivational speeches for your comrades to be considered jobs and allowing the gravy train to keep rolling.

There are a lot of full-time jobs that pay 29k a year. Most of them are pink collar jobs. Teacher assistants...nurse's aides...receptionists...day care workers. Those are jobs that are mostly occupied by women and they rarely pay more than 30k annually. To say that Julia doesn't work or doesn't want to work is a lie. Julia works but her job sucks.

A state can go beyond what the Fed mandates. The Clinton bill allowed for waivers.

the section 8 and medical and child care benefits of welfare are enormous. the tanf wtw system has flaws. it does not encourage utter independence, staying on the system is better financially. im not sure if this is a welfare failure or a failure of our government and economy to provide jobs with benefits for its people.
wages and benefits are supressed, too much 1 way trade and too much offshoring. correcting that and subcontracting all these 5 and 6 figure government jobs inc cops and firemen would help a great deal. illegals need to stop taping the system with anchor babies would help too.
