So a liberal is maximizing the help she gets from the government and reducing her taxes. Wow. I thought only rich bankers and Mormons running for president were allowed to do that!

Why is this so hard for you folks to understand?

One created wealth, invested that money and lives off of it.

The other is a succubus that sucks the life out of everything they come in contact with.

This isn't that hard. Think of unborn babies and the liberal Parasite Argument™. It should all make sense then.

Just wanted to note that I don't understand the premise of the chart in the OP especially if the woman in question makes $29K, which is higher than what a lot of Americans make per year.

When I was 24 I made about 28K and I had a child and was considered a single mom on paper with a toddler and I did not qualify for childcare assistance or foodstamps or medicaid. So I don't understand what you people are talking about!!

Qualifying based on income, depends on the state that you live in so the chart is misleading in that. I admit I got great tax refunds, but most of that was due to paying over $5K per year in childcare expenses. I usually got about $6K back per year with a tax return.

ETA: I also admit I did qualify for WIC but I did not tak WIC because I didn't need it and we only drank organic milk, which you cannot get with WIC vouchers.

Julia would do well in Poughkeepsie NY, where the social welfare system is alive and kicking.

Working is for suckers.

Julia’s mother: Why a single mom is better off with a $29,000 job and welfare than taking a $69,000 job | AEIdeas

Find me a real life Julia's mother that fits the above scenario - a full time worker who is capable of earning $69,000, but chooses to earn $29,000 and stay on welfare.

Based on what you've posted in the last few days, a woman would have to be nuts to let you "knock her up."

Did welfare reform make low-wage nonrecipients worse off? Specifically, did welfare reform lower wages and increase unemployment among nonrecipients?

100% of my paycheck goes into savings, because I have other "slush fund" type income sources that pay my daily/weekly/monthly expenditures. This is, in effect, the same as Julia earning 29K and capitalizing on social handouts to pay her daily/weekly/monthly expenditures such as food, cell phone, insurance, etc. She's better off because her core expenditures are paid for. Social handouts are her "slush fund."

It's a no-brainer.

I believe poor folks figured this out a long time ago......especially women with multiple children and no husband. Gaming the system is one aspect that the bottom feeders of America have completely figured out.
