Of course not. I'm sure you all agree.

FEW with great wealth have nobility- To be noble by definition meant to be generous- Rich or poor if you generate power- you are a noble--If you suck up power and are useless to the world- you can have a billion bucks and be ignoble.

Remember that- a true noble has grace- The old title of "Your Grace" meant - you were a person of grace - The definition of grace is this..."The UNDESERVED mercy of God"- In other words- you show mercy to the strong...the weak- to the poor- to the rich - to the evil- to the good- THAT IS REAL CLASS.

NOBLE men and woman are rare- They are god like- man punishes and judges unjustly most of the time- a noble has the grace of Solomon.

Sometimes you just don't want to play the game- People come into my realm and assume I have money...because it "appears" that way- I have nothing..other than myself and what I create- I have no cash but I have great wealth...it's odd...If I understood how stupid people were- I would have taken all of their money..instead of respecting them.

Ah, no. Why? People can be noble regardless of their financial standing. Let me guess...you think liberals don't like Romney because he's rich. That's a right wing media driven falsehood. They have done a masterful job in changing the argument from questioning Romney's business ethics into "liberals don't like Romney because they are jealous of his wealth"...and the Fox News simpletons eat it up.

Originally nobility was a result of picking the right parents. Now it should be the result of your actions but mostly remains the result of your breeding.

Does the modern American definition pertain mainly to character and honor?

Character and honor should define if you are a noble not the size of your wallet. I know many noble people who are poor and know many who are rich

nobility cost nothing. It is a trait of those who are principled and dignified. It is refinement of a higher quality . We have lost the sense of nobility in our culture today. We have become less than common as crass, unrefined material has taken over the media to a great extent. Foul language, jokes and situations on tv is the common viewing choice of many.
