"A man who stripped nude at Portland's airport security to protest what he saw as invasive measures by the TSA was found not guilty of indecent exposure. John Brennan stripped down completely on April 17 after a TSA guard said he found possible nitrates, perhaps from Brennan’s clothes, a statement which Brennan took as an accusation that he could be a terrorist.

The images caused quite the stir, but Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge David Rees ruled today that the 50-year-old tech consultant’s act was one of protest and therefore, protected speech."

Public nudity is legal in Oregon. I'm surprised he was cited to begin with.

Yeah, Oregon has very open laws regarding free speech--it's the same reason we have so many strip clubs.

If it wasn't at the airport and therefore involving TSA, he wouldn't have been arrested--but part of it was that the TSA asserted that he was somehow being disruptive with the screening process. All the same I've never seen any signs that says you have to have clothes on to go through the TSA screening...

And this guy may still face other charges that fall under disrupting TSA activities.
