Wow -- everyone should realize by now it's not one city, it's up to at least three cities -- so the dishonesty is with the left wing trying to claim it's just one.

new york city - the greatest city in the world was just days away from bankruptcy after the POTUS Ford in 1975 refused to bailout new york city from a sea of red ink , however the nyc teacher union saved nyc bacon by bailing the city out. I guess stockton is following in the footsteps of the world greatest city.

Only if they take on the same fiscal policies as the stingiest state. I lived there for 3 years, beautiful weather, stupid government policies. They need reform from the school board level up.

Would California need a bailout if it wasn't a sanctuary state?

Police Chief
Sure, as soon all the illegal people in California are moved to their own countries so we know that all monies used are used to benefit AMERICAN citizens and LEGAL immigrants, and people with legitimate visa, living in CA.

Do you think all of these sanctuary states need a bail out?

Please just go look at the CAFRS. Stop promoting this nonsense. CA isn't broke. A few places are opting for municipal BK which is nothing like other BK's. Most of that is simply to reduce pension fund payouts.

CA CAFR: Parks ‘found’ $54M, $2.3 billion more now ‘found;’ full $600B next?
