That's the one that really bothers me. Plus the fact they are better than we are at math & science. Damn furriners, always making us look bad.

The Olympic medal thing doesn't bother me that much. China has 4 times as many people as we do, so it's not surprising they'd earn more medals. It's still very close.

I've lived in the USA a lot longer than 4 years and in over 4 years, I have only written a handful of checks -- really only to Church because I don't want to toss my credit card into the collection basket. I also rarely use actual cash.

In the USA you can have direct deposit, pay all your bills on line, shop on line and you can almost forget what currency looks like. In fact if you live off the government checks, you can do the same and since you don't have to show up for work, if you die, no one will miss you and you might not be discovered dead for years.

Vietnamese Bank Issues Fingerprint-Enabled Debit Cards - Slashdot

I've got my photo on my debit card. Now I want my fingerprints on there too. I'm always being cheated out of something.
And when they cut my thumb & fingers off to drain the ATM I'll file for disability & smoke crack all day in a cardboard box down by the river.
