if black english dies it will be a sad day in america. people are saying slang and this and that but people must realize all words are made up. i hope america keeps all its dialects. i think southern dialects and black dialects which happen to be related have less prestige and its discrimination. people need to respect the difference of other and not try to make people change especially since black english has been in america since the beginning of time if anything black dialects are truly america and riffing them would be killing america's diversity. all dialects should be preserved.

Who's supposed to be talking in "Black English"? It's more like LOW class English; most educated Black dudes and ladies WON'T talk that way. Sheesh!

What is often called "Black English" really has its roots in the Deep South, and really came from Southern Whites. Thomas Sowell even says this.

Black Rednecks & White Liberals

My theory of what happened is that the dialect migrated, was incubated, ran into some other influences, and then when through another diffusion.
