I am a pragmatic extremist. Right now I think the biggest issue facing us is the debt and it will take tax increases and spending cuts to reduce it. We need to agree that whatever government programs we put in place must be paid for.

I'm not a rightist or leftist. How many rightists support gay marriage? I am an extremist in the cause of liberty.
