Glad to see that Anonymous is standing up to the hate disseminated in Uganda by Christian evangelicals and those organizations like the Family Research Council.

"The group of hackers calling themselves Anonymous has targeted websites for Uganda's government in retaliation for its intolerance of LGBT citizens. 'We currently have full control of the President of Uganda's website,' wrote a hacker on PasteBin, as noted by eSecurityPlanet. The hackers used that access to post fake messages.

'We will not stand by while LGBT Ugandans are victimized, abused and murdered by a ruthless and corrupt government," wrote the Anonymous hacker on PasteBin, threatening to continue to attacks "until the government of Uganda treats all people including LGBT equally and with respect, dignity and immediately ends the arrest and harassment of LGBT."

Just think of it then as Anonymous doing Uganda a favor by pointing out the security vulnerabilities to the country's website.

Anonymous have turned into a complete joke. They were gonna bring down the banks and now are reduced to hacking a page somebody put up of Uganda's PM. LOL

Online warfare isn't war. If they want a war, they can go and fight one. Trust me, the numbers won't be in their favor. The difference is simple, some are willing to die for what they believe in, others aren't. I'd wager "anonymous" is full of people in the latter category. Empty talk and passive aggressive action...that's all there is, that's all they're doing. Why would I expect anything more? Look at those who they are defending...

So instead, they'll just sit behind their computers wasting their time.

It's like a group of "keyboard warriors" banding together to make themselves feel important. They aren't.
