The shameful part of the lie, about NPR, being a liberal outlet, is that in the sad case of Romney winning this fall, that will give more support from the Pug Party, to defund it, while giving even more tax breaks to the top 2%.

The biggest failure of the Republicans was they did not kill off the 425 million dollars a year that PBS/NPR get from the taxpayers. This is a huge welfare check to a private company that is hard core left wing.

I would say so, but it's not as right-leaning as the "conservative media", which is quite open about their stances.

They were much more liberal in the "olden days", I hear. If you want to hear true liberal media, try Pacifica Radio.

If anything, NPR is *too* neutral, unbiased and dispassionate. When I heard about the Aurora shootings on NPR, I immediately switched over to Denver TV news. They're nothing if not sensationalistic, but at least I learned a few things from watching that I would have never heard on NPR.

I wouldn't consider myself liberal and I had no problem with NPR when I used to listen to it several years ago, I'm not sure how it is now.

It's definitely liberal and tax payer funded extremist propaganda which needs to have it's funding cut immediately. Around these parts it's called National Propaganda Radio. The disinformation it spews daily is rather ludicrous.

This couldn't be more further from the truth. I guess propaganda radio did it's job.

For anyone who thinks NPR is unbiased, just listen to one cycle of morning news and count how many times they use the words "Romney attacked Obama" or "Ryan attacked Obama", but they will never use those words when quoting our petty, vengeful president.
