No - capital punishment is legal in some states...abortion should not be made illegal- but the encouraging and suggesting along with the support of abortion should be curbed- Let woman makeup their own mind without interference through popular feminist culture...people -both men and woman should start minding their own business and not be concerned what is in another persons womb...get out of there....let woman be free.
what is the "time period allowed" for abortion, anyway?
Up to 15 weeks in most states (many have outlawed anything after, or you need a medical exception by a doctor or even 2 doctors to perfrom a late term abortion).
Quote:
so you are against partial birth abortion?
Only if the life of the mother is at stake. If the fetus, after 16 weeks is threatening the mother's life, the mother's life outweighs her fetus (only if SHE agrees to have the abortion) and the doctors can't recommend other solutions (ie birth the baby and take a chance of having it live in the ICU).
Tho I side with the Repubs on MOST things; on abortion we are opposite sides. But; I DO have a problem with "abortion on demand" after 3 to 4 months except for med reasons.
No, but we should abort those who seek to turn women into reproductive slaves.
That is so out of date and typically rhetorical. No one can turn a woman into a slave unless she permits it. This free the woman thing is over...I don't see blacks going on about slavery in the year 2012. If they were going on about it- they would have radical agendas and finding purpose in being trouble makers...Ladies...it's over the man hate and blame does not fly anymore..The world had evolved...feminist extremists are just old ladies who live in the past.
The U.S. already criminalized abortion (so the question should be asking if it should be re-criminalized) and it didn't work out well, which is was it was decriminalized.

You have conveniently chosen to dismiss the ever expanding list of Republican legislators who want to do just that.
They want to give rapists and pedophiles the power to force women and little girls to bear children through brute force.
Have you ever read the language in the personhood bills these men attempt to legislate?
Not only do they take away a woman's right to abort a rape pregnancy.....they take away a woman's right to use the morning after pill to prevent a rape pregnancy. In fact, these bills also ban some of the most effective methods of birth control available.
If that isn't an overt attempt to make women slaves to their reproductive systems, I don't know what is.

Do you know anybody who wants to do that?
I don't.
Are you referencing the human trafficking "business".
If you know anyone involved with that - I hope that you report them.
