Do you know that in 31 states men who "father" children via rape are legally able to assert the same custody and visitation rights as other fathers? If a woman chooses not to abort the baby or give it up for adoption, do you think this is right? It's all fine to say you don't support abortion under those circumstances, but do you really know the full implications of the alternatives? I'm going to guess NO.
I wonder what sentence a man gets for rape in those states. I would think if the female was under age that the man would be listed as a child molester and severely limited in his contact with youth. And again as brought up by another poster, as a mother of a son with Down syndrome, hearing that people think it is OK to eliminate a baby like him, well, I don't really understand that train of thought. How much of the time here are we talking "convenience"?

I am good with killing all rapists. Even those who are seventeen and "raped" a sixteen year old.

Right, and since there is no sudden transformation of the being that a fetus is once it's born, a baby is simply a late-term fetus that gets its oxygen and food via a different route.
Actually, there is a huge transformation upon birth. The umbilical cord is cut, and even if uncut, ceases to perform its function, that of supplying food and oxygen to the now baby. The foramen ovale and the ductus arteriosis in the heart close off, allowing for "normal" heart function.
Neither does a mentally retarded child, outside the womb.
A child born with mental defects can still function.
