Human, yes.

Beings, arguable, mainly depending on what stage of development they're at.

Ah, so it's the old real estate principle: location, location, location, huh? Sucks for the pre-born baby then, doesn't it? A pre-born baby still in the womb can survive on it's own as equally as someone on dialysis, insulin, feeding tube, etc.

Btw, as you are well aware this thread is specifically for pro-life people. You are pro-abortion.

Legal Voice - Parental Rights of Rapists

Pffft!
I wonder what sentence a man gets for rape in those states. I would think if the female was under age that the man would be listed as a child molester and severely limited in his contact with youth. And again as brought up by another poster, as a mother of a son with Down syndrome, hearing that people think it is OK to eliminate a baby like him, well, I don't really understand that train of thought. How much of the time here are we talking "convenience"?

There you go with your logical fallacies.

If you can't tell the difference between a LIVING BREATHING (with aid) Human BEING, and a clump of cells, it is NOT us, who believe in the freedom of choice, who has a problem.

So you concede that a pre-born baby is human, thank you for your intellectual honesty. So, if we should be allowed to murder a pre-born baby human, for whatever reason, why should we not be allowed to murder a 3 month old baby human?

Always with the "zygote" and "clump of cells" nonsense. Do you know at what age a fetus develops lungs, how early in the pregnancy?

I am good with killing all rapists. Even those who are seventeen and "raped" a sixteen year old.
I am also good with letting a woman choose if she wants to carry the fetus of a rapist.

what death is occurring?

Your skin is alive as they are living cells, yet you shed them naturally every day. Its not a medical procedures. Shall we now charge you with murder because you kill skin every day?

Actually, there is a huge transformation upon birth. The umbilical cord is cut, and even if uncut, ceases to perform its function, that of supplying food and oxygen to the now baby. The foramen ovale and the ductus arteriosis in the heart close off, allowing for "normal" heart function.

A child born with mental defects can still function.

Do you have a hard time understanding what "in the womb" means?

Seems so.
