Ghetto Rat is not a racist term. A person of any race can be a ghetto rat.
Definition from the urban dictionary;
"Ghetto Rat is the term for a girl who lives in the hood and has no other ambitions other than to get pregnant and/or be saved (removed from the hood) by a man."
So Dale is arguing that everyone in America is turning into a girl wanting to be impregnated or saved by a man? Oh ok.

helenejen brought up racism because she was desperate to divert the discussion away from the actual topic of the thread: The Obama administration has run up the National Debt to the $16 trillion mark, and beyond.
Screeching "racism" at the drop of a hat, is an effective way to change the subject, as you can see.
We've already been downgraded in the nation's credit ratings once during Obama's tenure... for the first time in U.S. history, I believe.
Let us look at the debt since Obama has been in office:
01/07/2009
Debt Held by the Public = 6,318,494,695,577.72
Total Public Debt Outstanding = 10,635,772,096,222.74
8/31/2012
Debt Held by the Public = 11,272,625,663,662.57
Total Public Debt Outstanding = 16,015,769,788,215.80
How can anyone who actually pays more into federal income taxes than they receive back from the federal government even consider giving Obama the spendthrift another 4 years ???????

You're right, we should cut everything in half, including defense spending.
You do realize that defense of this country is a Constitutional obligation and responsibility of the federal government while most of the rest of the spending is not, don't you?
Do you acknowledge the difference between defense spending and the military budget?
Do you care to address the thread topic of $16 Trillion in national debt?

Drop of the hat? I hate to think what it takes for you to acknowledge racism. Perhaps you'd like to educate yourself:

Takes a while to fix the crap that had already started when he took office. Perhaps you should also research what the Republicans screeching about not raising the debt limit did to the decision to downgrade our rating.
Oh, but that would mean implicating someone other than the one person who you think is to blame for everything in this country.

You do realize the amount of money spent on defense isn't a Constitutional obligation. Oh and by "defense" I mean all defense, which includes military, which takes up the most of defense spending.
So are you okay with the bloated budget of defense? I personally don't think we need to be spending as much as we are on defense, which cutting that budget down will aid lowering the burden on our national debt, so yes I do care to address the national debt, I just defense should also be on that table.
