That's true, but the President can take a strong stance and lead/influence. He made a feeble attempt, but misdirected his time and energy toward a grossly misguided healthcare program and caved to Big Business easily on all fronts.

You really don't know whether you're coming or going do you... caved to Big Business on all fronts... right. That's not the way I hear it. To hear most of you, Obama has done nothing for BB and that's why he's got to go. That grossly misguided healthcare program the right loves to hate was about as close a copy of Massachusetts' Romneycare as there could be without actually calling it Romneycare. I'd still love for someone on the Republican side to explain why the single payer mandate is Ok when its Romney's idea and applied to Massachusetts' citizens but it is bad policy and should be repealed when under the auspices of the U.S. government. The U.S. is the only First World Country without UHC. Why Americans revel in this and fight bitterly to remain an outlier example of depraved indifference to the plight of the less fortunate I don't know.
