The federal reserve serves at the behest of both D's and R's and is at the root cause of the housing bubble with its system of fractional reserve banking and artificially low interest rates.

Yup, artificially low interest rates certainly played a part, too. But Democrats pushing banks to make mortgage loans to people unable to pay them back, and pushing the Govt to buy up those loans, were the principal cause.

Timely, yes. But, it was idiotic rhetoric then, as it is now.

Is there any part of the OP you can point out as wrong, and back up your accusations?

Or are you just doing the usual desperate leftist namecalling with the usual complete lack of justification?

Excuse me? Republicans - including President George W. Bush warned of the impending crisis and the Democrats ignored them.

The blame for the economic mess we are in falls squarely on the Democrats shoulders.

Oh yeah - it was given to him.

Thats right - liberals think that nothing is ever built.

We had a strong economy in the mid to late 1990's because the Republican Party was in control of the House and President Clinton had to move to the center - he enacted many conservative policies that benefited the economy because he needed to do so in order to survive politically.

He also presided under the Internet explosion - which Al Gore did not invent - the U.S. Army, major U.S. universities, and Tim Berners-Lee did "build that".

I love how nobody blames the moonbat global warmers in the EPA and the deaf dumb Democrats that keep saying we dont have any oil or gas or coal and were all gonna drown when the ice melts...

Then they complain about all the wars we have to fight to keep the petro dollar the reserve currency...

The insane liberal energy policies that caused a shocking rise in oil and natural gas prices played a huge role in the collapse...

It was easy for me to see it coming, I just shook my head in disgust...

Remember Al Gore???

In other words - you revel in willful ignorance.

Apparently his face is made of teflon - entirely due to the lapdog liberal media who won't tell Americans the truth.
