Are you kidding? Obama and his policies have EVERYTHING to do with it.

He should have showed strength from Day 1. In reality, he still hasn't.

Perfect description of the neocons/right wing warmongers we have in this forum.

It is hard not to notice, and be disturbed by, the vastly different reactions whenever innocent Americans are killed, as opposed to when Americans are doing the killing of innocents. All the rage and denunciations of these murders in Benghazi are fully justified, but one wishes that even a fraction of that rage would be expressed when the US kills innocent men, women and children in the Muslim world, as it frequently does. Typically, though, those deaths are ignored, or at best justified with amoral bureaucratic phrases ("collateral damage") or self-justifying cliches ("war is hell"), which Americans have been trained to recite.
He doesn't "just nail" anything in that article. He spews the drivvle that lefties like you love to spew, and that is an American life isn't worth more than anyone else's life and we Americans should be crying rivers for the dead Muslims who would KILL YOU if you walked through their streets as you hold up peace symbols and drop daisies on the ground.

Ambassador Stevens and his staff did not deserve to die because of what operations the U.S. military conducted in any Muslim nation.

They did not deserve to die over a schlock piece of film trash that Muslims are using, just as any excuse would do, for justification of their senseless violence in Cairo and Benghazi.

Good point.

[Great example of how right wingers are incapable of putting themselves in the shoes of a person unlike them.]
Sorry, you're comparing 2 totally different issues.

Because, it does not fit the predetermined political narrative of the progressives.

Timeline is important to consider here.

This morning, the situation has grown much worse, and the White House has now reacted quite swiftly. But the initial response to the storming of the embassy in Cairo was much too late and far too apologetic. And make no mistake - there are more protests in the works today. I pray for the safety of Americans in those countries.

By the way, let's not forget that just last week, the Democrats were touting success (for political gain) on the killing of bin Laden and also for the Arab Spring. The last two days prove to be very strong counterexamples to the results of that 'Arab Spring'.

I agree about his campaign. In this economy it should be hard for any incumbent to win (whether I think Presidents have a lot of control over this stuff or not) so it really shouldn't be this close I think. But they've done some boneheaded things, plus I believe the whole running on anger thing is a huge mistake. You can't build a campaign on "I hate Obama". It didn't work with GW, it will not likely work this time either. Even if people are angry they want some hope and optimism mixed in. Reagan was great at that, that's how he built up such a mythology.

And certainly, Romney's remarks today were better than Obamas. Obama seemed lifeless, little emotion. Like a third grader reading a report. Hillary's statement was even better than Obamas remarks today. Obama is not a leader, and he demonstrated that again today and yesterday.
It wasn't the official response from the WH. It was from the embassy and was not official.

Huge mistake.

He used the deaths of US Officials for political gain, and accused Obama for saying things he never said. He actually made his comments before Obama has said anything about the incident. When Obama made his comment, it was the opposite of what Romney had claimed.

So, it was wrong at two levels:

1. It was dishonest
2. He used the deaths of US Officials for political gain, which is horribly low
